Cutler is not the only candidate who supports charters, but he has been the loudest supporter. Liberal or not, I'm glad someone is pushing hard for education innovations. I listened to a bit of the Ed Committee meeting today. I was disappointed at how adverse to change some members seemed. Maine will continue being left in the dust if we don't prove we can step up to the plate and advance with the world. I am glad someone is vocally supporting charters.
