These so called rights have already been ceded to the state where you need to apply for a license and pay a fee. I don't intend to beat my children, cheat on my wife or become gay just because two people of the same sex can have the same rights that I do. I hope there are not enough ignorant bigots in Maine to give this bill even a small support. How anyone can think that denying rights to others will protect marriage is mind boggling.
